NAPTIP says it rescued 147 victims of human trafficking in Jigawa in 2025.
The commander promised that a thorough investigation would be conducted in order to identify the trafficking syndicate and bring them to justice.
He explained that the suspects comprised two males and four females, aged between 32 and 36.
Mr Turajo further reiterated the agency’s readiness to combat human trafficking through victim identification, rescue, and reunification.
Mr Kabiru-Ingawa promised that the corps will continue with its unwavering commitment to deepening inter-agency collaboration with NAPTIP.
