NG-CARES said that over nine million Nigerians have benefitted from the initiative.
NG-CARES is a federal government programme and the World Bank aimed at responding to hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Zamfara, Nasarawa, and Plateau states emerged as the first three earning with N49,182,347,834.58, N27,204,679,444.17 and N26,312,588,262.79 billion, respectively.
Mr Obaje said each state was allocated $20 million, while the FCT and the NG-CARES got $15 million each.
Mr Obaje explained that the programme was a $750 million facility from the world bank that should be implemented ordinarily for two years.
The national coordinator appealed to states and the FCT to use the funds released in line with the financing agreement and the “Funds Release Policy”.
Mr Obaje said that the programme would be implemented along 11 Disbursement Linked Indicators.
