The National Biotechnology Research and Development Agency has assured Nigerians of the health safety of genetically modified organisms.
Mr Mustapha said that upon the arrival of the necessary documents, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) would be signed with a partner company that would kick-start the insulin production.
Mr Mustapha stated, “Early detection is for those living and operating in areas such as mining sites.”
“We can also enhance nutritional content while ensuring that our agricultural practices are sustainable and environmentally friendly,” he said.
According to him, the reappointment would enable the DG to complete his work in enhancing pharmaceutical production.
Federal government agencies have allayed Nigerians’ fears over the safety of genetically modified organisms (GMO) crops.

The journal is expected to help produce scientific evidences that guide policy making in biotechnology utilisation and development.
