Workers of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, under the Joint Union Action Committee, resumed their indefinite strike on Thursday over unresolved welfare issues.
NAHCON said in a statement by its spokesperson, Fatima Usara, that the fire incident occurred at the Imaratus Sanan Hotel at noon on Saturday.
The NAHCON chairman urged the media to help the commission disseminate the information to pilgrims.
The NAHCON boss thanked the airlines and other key stakeholders whose contributions have been instrumental in the smooth and successful operations recorded.
He reiterated NAHCON’s commitment to staff support throughout the Hajj period.
