The EFCC chairman enjoined Nigerian youths to be whistleblowers for the commission by utilizing the Eagle Eye application of the EFCC.
Mr Emefiele was suspended on Friday and is now being investigated by the State Security Service.
“The award was given in recognition of the executive chairman’s dedication and support in achieving SERVICOM’s vision and mission.”
He said that the fight against corruption was not an easy task, stressing that Buhari’s administration’s fight against corruption surpassed other previous administrations.
Mr Bawa said the workshop was expected to build synergy between the media and the commission in the fight against corruption.
It, therefore, urged stakeholders to wade off such threats in the coming administration for a prosperous Nigeria.
