The Police Counsel, Solomon Babalola, moved a motion experte, praying the court for an order to remand the defendant in prison.
Motim alleged that the defendants conspired with others, now at large, to steal cocoa pods valued at N500, 000, belonging to Saheed Jolaosho.
Mr Babalola told the court that Mr Gambo committed the offence sometime in October 2025 and on December 5, 2025, at about 4:00 p.m., at Areke Town, Kajola, in the Owode Egba area of the state.
According to him, the offences contravene Sections 516, and 467 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun State, 2006.
Senior State Counsel, Timileyin Oredein, told the court that the musician’s case had a sister case, which needed to be merged before trial begins.
The defendant adjourned the case until April 7 for mention.
The defendant pleaded guilty to the one-count charge of unlawful entry and stealing.
The magistrate held that the prosecution had proven his case beyond reasonable doubt.
