Mr Akinbiyi said the accident occurred at 1:00 a.m. on the Abeokuta–Kobape–Siun–Sagamu Interchange axis of the expressway.
Mrs Okpe urged motorists and passengers to always put safety first.
“Three people were injured, which were two men and a woman, while a man, a woman and a child died in the accident,” the FRSC said.
An FRSC official blamed the accident on excessive speeding as the driver of the bus, marked APP 297 YC, lost control at a bend and somersaulted.
The crash involved a Howo Sino truck and a Mazda car, at Day Waterman junction on the Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway.
