The director-general, NILDS, Abubakar Sulaiman, said this on Monday at the opening of a three-day workshop organised by the institute for 300 legislative aides in Abuja.
“There is the need to also encourage the recruitment of more women and prepare pathways for their professional development and leadership within the security forces.”
The 10th Bauchi State House of Assembly legislators reelected Abubakar Sulaiman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP-Ningi central) as the speaker.
NILDS has urged Nigerians to participate in building a society that upholds the principles of transparency, accountability and the rule of law.
“All must be prosecuted after the investigation. We pray against the recurrence of such unfortunate incident,” said the group’s chairman.
The complainant said that her former husband also handed over her marriage suitcases and gifts to his new wife.
Mr Sulaiman said his decision to return to the PDP was as a result of his good understanding and working relationship with the governor.
The state legislators unanimously called on the state government to enforce stringent measures to curb the disease.
