Mr Disu pledged to prioritise citizens’ welfare and police professionalism.
The former UNN student said he had been in the music industry since 2016 and also operates a public relations company.
“They will be well motivated, with opportunities for training overseas, if necessary,” he said.
He stated that the directive was to foster understanding and reach common grounds ahead of the protest.
The police have encouraged NLC and TUC to embark on a peaceful protest against President Bola Tinubu’s failure to provide palliatives before removing petrol subsidy.
