President Adama Barrow unveiled a plaque on Wednesday formally designating the faculty as the Dr Akinwumi Adesina School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
The digital group said, “The passage of this bill is the culmination of years of collective advocacy and engagement by civil society, policymakers, and stakeholders.”
Mr Barrow, who arrived in Katsina for the visit, was received by the secretary to the Katsina State government, Abdullahi Garba-Faskari, alongside members of the Buhari family.
The Gambian president hailed the giant strides of Nigerian professors serving in his country as volunteers.
Mr Musa-Njie made this submission during the unveiling of the Women Chamber of Commerce, Credit Cooperative Union in Abuja.
