Mr Adaji said the MoU would further provide a platform to accelerate the ongoing delimitation and demarcation of the Nigeria–Benin boundary.
The National Boundary Commission states that it is building border community resilience for economic development through cross-border cooperation.
Mr Adaji said the commission would use the visit to sensitise stakeholders in communities involved in boundary disputes to the need for peaceful coexistence.
He said that with Mr Tinubu’s support, the commission had made significant progress in managing Nigeria’s boundary issues.
“I am confident that these efforts will pave the way for stability and development in the region,” said the NBC boss.
