He made the pledge shortly after attending a stakeholders’ meeting in Birnin Kebbi.
The call was sequel to renewed concerns over killings and general insecurity in the Kaima Local Government Area of the state.
Chairman of the committee, Solomon Adeola, also fixed February 9 for a public hearing on the budget proposal.
Mr Aliero said, “The institute will monitor the conduct of its members and ensure compliance with technical and professional standards.’’
“Every election, they have been giving opposition leaders fake results. They want to take advantage of that,” claimed the former governor.
Mr Ganduje said, “This is a good development, and it is in consonance with what is happening in Nigeria today.’’
He described the project as an investment not only for the present generation but an investment for the future.
Senators from the northern region have objected to a bill to ban open grazing and stop the movement of herders and their cows.
