Mr Yusuf said the programme reflected the administration’s focus on education, youth empowerment, and social welfare.
Top security officials could not locate the judges, prompting speculation that the proceedings might be held virtually.
The Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Baba Halilu-Dantiye, said the governor was distancing himself from the “unguarded utterances”.
“Any judge that allows himself to be used and collect bribes and pass judgement that is not right…must choose between his life and the bribe money he collected.”
Mr Yusuf said their appointment was based on integrity and antecedents, asking them not to betray his confidence.
He said the nominees would help the governor to implement his policies and programmes, as provided by the constitution.
