“There is no sense in what he (Mr Baba-Ahmed) said. It is absolute nonsense,” Mr Atiku’s spokesman told Peoples Gazette.
Mr Aborisade said this during the unveiling of the ADC in the Oyo Central senatorial district on Monday in Ibadan.
ADC warned that delayed amendments to the Electoral Act 2022 posed serious compliance and eligibility risks if not passed on time.
“Calling Obidients divisive is what politicians do when they fear accountability,” said Mr Tanko.
The members commended the chairman for strengthening the party’s local government structure across the state.

He argued that democracy allows political actors to make compromises in the interest of broader national goals.
“So, if you are an Obidient and you’re not in the ADC, sorry, you’re not an Obidient- you are a disobedient,” said Kenneth Okonkwo.
The ADC warned that altering legislation after its approval by the legislature amounts to alleged centralisation of power by President Bola Tinubu.
“Why does President Tinubu prefer to promote his French connection rather than local capacities?” said ADC.
