Mr Kanu, who is expected to open his defence today, is standing trial on alleged terrorism offences.
“I am Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. I stand for myself,” said the IPOB leader in court on Friday.
The IPOB leader then sought an adjournment to enable him to prepare for his defence.
Lead defence counsel Kanu Agabi informed the court that they would be opting for a no-case submission, which would be filed in due course.
The SSS official, identified as DDD, was led in evidence by the Federal Government’s lawyer, Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN.
The three videos were played in the open court, and the government’s witness, an operative of the SSS identified as BBB, was cross-examined by Mr Erokoro.
Mr Gulak was the former special adviser on political affairs to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
Mr Awomolo said that the statement-taking session was also recorded on video.
Moving the motion, Mr Awomolo told the court that the identities of the witnesses needed to be protected for security reasons.
