The Amotekun Corps in Ondo say it received at least 500 petitions on farmer-herder clashes in 2022.

The seizure came after the governor Rotimi Akeredolu-led state government ordered a ban on the movement of commercial motorcyclists at night.
Roads in Ondo became nightmare recently as bandits ramped up their nefarious activities, killing and kidnapping travellers for ransom.
Mr Adeleye said that the Amotekun Corps was being faced with the challenges of the difficult terrain of the forests, with its link to Edo and Kogi.
He also said the landlord of the house where the criminals lodged before launching the attack has also been nabbed.
