On January 31, the judge issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr Ehie over his alleged involvement in the burning of part of the Rivers’ House of Assembly.
Mr Ehie’s lawyer, Oluwole Aladedoye, asked the court to set aside its earlier order issuing an arrest warrant for him because he was not invited for questioning.
The judge had, on January 31, issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr Ehie over his alleged involvement in the burning of part of Rivers Assembly.
“Mr. Jitoboh was transferred to the Research and Development department of the force, which we believe is a prelude to effecting this plan.”
The statement comes a day after Peoples Gazette exposed a deep-laid plot to forcibly promote Moses Jitoboh as deputy inspector-general.
