Mr Shettima reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to the transformative journey under the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
“Russia will also assist in opening new African embassies and consulates in Russia,” he said.
“This is a big concern, and we need to think critically about how we can meet our present needs without compromising the needs of the future,” he said.
He said his administration had taken various decisions including the closure of land borders for two years for the benefit of farmers.
“It was either we aggressively address the high inflationary pressure or continue to pursue measures aimed at supporting recovery.”
