Market capitalisation rose by N1.077 trillion, or 1.37 per cent, to close at N79.803 trillion, up from N78.726 trillion recorded on Thursday.
Specifically, the market capitalisation opened at N55.188 trillion and shed N57 billion or 0.10 per cent to close at N55.131 trillion.
The market capitalisation gained N256 billion to close at N28.155 trillion, compared with N27.899 trillion on Friday.
Accordingly, the month-to-date and year-to-date returns increased to 0.05 per cent and 10.88 per cent, respectively.
