Ms Maigari reiterated the state government’s commitment to enhancing access to quality education at all levels.
Deputy Governor Manassah Jatau, while flagging off the initiative, hoped it would significantly reduce the number of malnourished children.
She said the gesture was part of the state government’s efforts to enhance access to quality education.
The council also approved N10.4 billion for constructing 77-kilometre roads in Kwami Funakaye, Nafada and Yamaltu-Deba local government areas.
The training exercise, he said, would build the capacity of the teachers.
The Gombe government has approved N417 million for payment of external examination fees for 21,988 final-year students of secondary schools.
