The Nigeria Labour Congress says its leader, Joe Ajaero, will honour the invitation by the police for investigation over alleged terrorism subversion.
The electricity tariff hike and discriminatory band classification remain unacceptable and must be addressed alongside the wage increase.
Nigerian workers have given President Bola Tinubu until the end of May to finalise the implementation of the new national minimum wage for workers.
The removal of subsidies on petroleum products “has further worsened the challenges faced by working people,” Mr Ajaero said.
“The Federal Government will never condone such act.’’
