The president emphasised that sacrifice and duty were essential ingredients to nation-building.
The statement said Mr Tinubu would observe Eid-el-Kabir in Lagos, where he would also spend the Sallah holidays.

“The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Senate,” the statement said.
Mr Tinubu assured India of Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening relations and advancing shared goals and values as strategic partners in the League of Nations.
“We are running a constitutional democracy. I will appeal to you to summon the governors,” said Mr Tinubu.
The committee will coordinate and oversee all the policies and programmes on climate action.
