Mr Ndume noted that the students were kidnapped at the peak of their early morning class lessons.
The senator stated that Nigeria’s persistent security failures stem largely from the country’s inability to deploy modern technology to track criminals in real time.
“In fact, I warned that APC is being overloaded, and when you have a ship and you have loaded cargo…there are chances you will capsize,“ Mr Ndume stated.
“People are not happy, and the president himself is not pretending,” he said.
Mr Ndume alleged that the APC was planning to field Mr Bwala to replace him as Borno South Senator in 2027.

Mr Ndume said Mr Tinubu’s government handled the situation wrongly and called for the punishment of police officers involved in their arrest and detention.
Mr Ndume said, “If you see somebody in our system, especially in politics or government and he is not corrupt, then he is lucky to be God-fearing.’’
