Farmers in Ido-Ekiti in Ido-Osi local government area have appealed to Governor Biodun Oyebanji to enforce the anti-grazing law against invaders of their farms.
The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) says at least 2,790 hectares of farmlands in the Nguru local government area of Yobe were destroyed by flood.
They said it was unfortunate that Nigeria at 62, still depends on foreign nations to survive.

Some farmers in the South-East have decried the high cost of fertilisers, noting that they have resorted to other sources of manure for their crops.
