Market capitalisation gained N1.56 trillion or 2.97 per cent to close at N53.967 trillion, compared with N52.408 trillion recorded on Monday.
Similarly, market capitalisation, which opened at N50.289 trillion, closed at N51.735 trillion.
The market capitalisation gained N1.82 trillion or 93 per cent to close at N48.139 trillion, as against N46.316 trillion posted on Monday.
The gain represents 1.63 per cent, closing at 41.583 trillion, compared to N40.917 trillion recorded on Friday.
The overall market capitalisation value lost N418 billion to close at N27.850 trillion from N28.267 trillion.
The market capitalisation lost N77 billion to close at N30.249 trillion from N30.326 trillion at the trading session on Thursday.
The market capitalisation dropped by N162 billion or 0.53 per cent to close at N30.238 trillion as against the N30.4 trillion recorded on Tuesday.
A total of 154.63 million shares valued at N5.51 billion were exchanged in 3,095 deals.
The bullish note was as a result of bargain buying on MTN Nigeria and other 16 stocks.
The market’s weak performance was primarily driven by selloffs in stocks of Zenith Bank, Geregu, Nigerian Breweries and Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCo).
