The Allied Peoples Movement, Lagos chapter, says the dividends of democracy should reach every citizen, regardless of location or social status.
The Lagos State chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement on Monday re-elected Bunmi Adeyemo and 16 others as members of the state executive committee.
He attributed his decision to the governor’s developmental achievements.
He called for the postponement of the election.
The Kano State High Court, on Friday, ordered the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) to proceed with the conduct of the local government election scheduled for Saturday
Mr Mohammed said, “The NSCDC state commandant said the officers had been thoroughly briefed and were ready for the assignment.’’
The ruling was delivered on Wednesday.
The presidential election petitions tribunal has postponed the Atiku Abubakar and Allied Peoples Movement petitions hearing.
The three-member panel granted the request while ruling on three separate ex parte applications filed by Mr Atiku and PDP; Mr Obi and LP and APM.
