The Lagos governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, Laja Adeoye, says the party is now ready to dislodge the All Progressives Congress and govern Nigeria in 2027
Mr Adewale, in a statement on Thursday, said his decision to support Mr Adeleke was a “conscious choice to place Osun state’s interest above personal ambition”.
The senator was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2023. He later dumped the PDP and joined the ADC.
The chairman said that security agencies had been duly notified of the development.
