Mr Aiyedatiwa charged the traditional ruler to promote peace, unity, and development in his domain.
In his appreciation, Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, said that the gesture was quite befitting.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa said the N3.2 billion disbursement would offset the gratuity owed to the 2015 retirees under the State Pension Scheme.
The commissioner urged retirees and the entire state workforce to give the governor their unflinching support.
Mr Takuro said the gesture was a continuation of the gradual defrayment of gratuity arrears for retired local government officers and primary school teachers.
Mr Aiyedatiwa, represented by his deputy, Olayide Adelami, gave the order in a meeting on Friday with the Ondo State Council of Obas.
The Ondo government has reiterated its commitment to being neutral in selecting traditional state rulers and allowing kingmakers to exercise their powers.
“You must guard your loins and hit the ground running in your various offices.”
The commissioner said creating the LCDAs will bring the government closer to the people and give them a sense of belonging.
