A 500-level law student of University of Abuja, Amra Salihu,has emerged winner of the 2026 Amnesty International intervarsity debate.
The rights organisation said Mr Wike’s remark violated the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) code.Â
Every official involved in the arrest, detention, neglect, and concealment of Mrs Ifedi’s death must be identified and prosecuted.
The group noted that suspected perpetrators of killings and abductions often escape justice.
Dadiyata was allegedly abducted on Aug. 2, 2019, by masked gunmen at the gate of his home in Kaduna, and has not been seen since.
Amnesty said the Nigerian government’s response to the violence has been largely ineffective.Â
