On Saturday, Mr Zelensky and European leaders urged Russia to agree to a “full and unconditional” 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine.
The leaders were greeted at the train station by Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
Russia has argued that arms supplies to Ukraine hinder the conflict’s settlement and directly involve NATO countries in it.
Mr Zelensky said, “Our people are back.’’
Russia fired missiles at several cities in Ukraine early Monday, with air alerts sounding in many parts of the country, Ukrainian authorities said.
In Tuesday’s incident, an electricity substation also caught fire near the town of Dzhankoi in north Crimea.
British military intelligence said on Friday that Russian forces were continuing their ground assault on the Azovstal steel plant for a second day.
