He thanked the mothers of his children and Anioma women for their sacrifices.
Mr Nwoko urged them to continue to support the collective aspiration for the creation of Anioma State.
He noted that life had afforded him the privilege of service to family, Anioma, Delta and Nigeria in general.
Mr Oganah said that the decision reflected the spirit of inclusion and national balance.
Ms Okonkwo said that the civil war was one of the worst things to have happened to the people of Anioma, aka Enuani-speaking Anioma.
The approval followed a motion during plenary on the “Restoration of Aniocha North II State Constituency, Delta in compliance with Supreme Court Judgment.”
“The creation of Anioma state is a crucial step towards achieving justice and equity for the South-East,” said Mr Nwoko.
