The Department of State said it is sanctioning RSF leader Mohammad Hamdan Daglo Mousa, known as Hemedti, for his role in the ongoing violence in Sudan.
Mr Blinken noted that U.S. President Joe Biden had deployed more forces to the region “to deter any attacks” against Israel.
The sweeping set of sanctions is chiefly focused on trade, finance, and industry.
Mr Blinken arrived in Egypt on Monday for the first leg of the tour.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ways to enhance bilateral relations and promote joint cooperation in various fields.
The ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s unwavering support for the Palestinian.
