It stated that 20 other ships are at the ports discharging containers.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, “Shipping Position,” on Wednesday in Lagos.
The document stated that 15 other ships were already at the ports.
Mr Akutah stressed the need to put a mechanism in place to stop export containers without proper documentation.
The Lagos government said illegal extortion points would be sacked in streamlining the corridor.
The minister explained that the project, when completed, would create more economic activities and jobs for teeming youths.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 23 ships have discharged bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk gypsum, butane gas, bulk fertiliser, and fuel, at the Lagos ports.
But in a swift rebuttal, Governor Akeredolu in a statement said he was not in support of the agitation for Yoruba secession from Nigeria.
The governor decried the level of indiscipline among port players and promised to tackle it head-on.
