Mr Babafemi said NDLEA operatives intercepted the drugs at the Port Harcourt Ports Complex, Onne, Rivers and the Apapa Seaport, Lagos.
Mr Babafemi said NDLEA’s operatives raided a notorious drug joint at Iloda Street, Ikole-Ekiti and arrested and detained three suspects.
Reacting to the seizures made, NDLEA chairman, retired, Buba Marwa, commended the officers and men of the agency.
The NDLEA spokesman also said they were seized from a watch-listed container from India at Port Harcourt, Port Complex, Onne, Rivers on Tuesday, October 15.
The master of the ship, Tanahan Krilerk and 21 foreign national crew members and local dockworkers were arrested.
Rotimi Amaechi also says a rail project that would serve the country’s eastern flank would be awarded by month’s end.
