APGA national chair Sly Ezeokenwa has congratulated Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra on his second anniversary in office.
Ms Soludo said the rising cases of child abuse by guardians and caregivers was worrisome.
“The election was contested, and Ehindero Ifeoluwa Babajide of APC polled 35,504 while Bada Olalekan Oladapo scored 15,328.”
The candidates are Zipporah Samuel Bijeh of Accord Party, David Sunday of ZLP, Idris Inuwa of SDP and David Ogah Batholomew of APGA.
According to the INEC official, five political parties (ADC, APC, APGA, NNPP, and PDP) fielded candidates for the election.
He wondered why an agency of the government would vehemently flout valid court orders and choose the ones it would obey.
Mr Nwankwo said that the party organised a free, fair and credible primary election on January 9.
“The tribunal ordered for forensic inspection of the BVAS, so the BVAS is specifically contained in the tribunal order,” Mr Ihejiagwa said.
“They were given prior statutory notice. It’s not true that it was 24 hours’ notice. Victims will always lament to whip up sentiment,” the Anambra government said.
