Mr Osiyemi said the repairs would commence with the service lane, and scheduled to run for six weeks, starting from February 5 to March 19.
Mr Bakare-Oki said engineers had been working for four to five hours, causing traffic congestion.

He said that the re-opening of the bridge was to reduce hardship to road users.
