The Christian Association of Nigeria has called for accountability and strengthening the justice system to punish all criminal acts undermining the country’s security.
The Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) has expressed grave concern over the alarming rise in insecurity across the country.
The council expressed deep concerns over the outcome of the nationwide protests.
“Dialogue, petitions, and town hall meetings are viable options that can yield positive results without the risk of disorder.’’
“Let us work together to build a stronger, more just Nigeria.’’
“We need the supernatural hand of God to rest on our leaders.”
“Both church and government are aligned in our shared commitment of a brighter future for all Nigerians,’ said the SGF.
He called on stakeholders to seek an end to the practice.
“So we ask Nigerians who seem to have lost hope not to lose hope. But to have patience and persevere,” said CAN.
