He said the project represents a significant leap in strengthening officers’ operational planning capabilities.
“When we are able to secure our environment, then we can provide other things easily and comfortably,” he said.
Mr Ogalla gave the charge to members of Junior Course 97 of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College at a graduation ceremony.
“As junior commanders, you have to take vital decisions in the field. Junior leaders must understand that indecision is not an option,” said the air force chief.
”We are also empowering members of staff through our welfare scheme.”
The CAS said the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) would deploy all assets and personnel to counter internal and external threats to national security.
He pledged to deploy the entire machinery of state power to ensure the security of Nigeria, its people and property in a just and democratic society.
Mr Lagbaja congratulated the commandant on his appointment and appreciated the existing partnership between the college and the army.
Mr Amao explained that the military has a huge role to play in providing a peaceful atmosphere necessary for the success of the February 2023 elections.
The CDS emphasised the importance of collaboration between the military and other law enforcement agencies.
