Mr Atiku blasted Nigerian leaders at all levels for being insouciant about the tragic killing of innocent Nigerians in the country.
At the event, Mr El-Rufai, who championed Mr Tinubu’s presidential campaign in 2023, called for a coalition to oust the president from office.
He added that any political discourse that excludes youth representation should be rejected by Nigerian youths.
Mr George also faulted the involvement of Mr Atiku in the coalition to unseat Tinubu.
Mr Ewor, who spoke on Monday, also accused the FCT minister of festering the crisis in the PDP for his political gains.
The former vice president and opposition PDP misread the Nigerian political system or, even worse, displayed ignorance of the country’s political behaviour and demographics.
The police’s intervention in such matters is nothing less than using a sledgehammer to swat a fly.
“We can only speculate what detrimental impact Atiku’s proposed lengthy town hall and Village Square meetings would have had on Nigeria’s economy,” said the presidency.
NUPRC promises “continue to pursue its statutory mandate.”
The deployment of soldiers in extra constitutional matters such as this undermines the integrity of the Nigerian military.
