NPA said the ships were discharging petrol, diesel, crude oil, buckwheat, general cargo, containers, bulk gas, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, base oil, and bulk urea.

No fewer than 41 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at Lagos seaport.
The Nigerian Ports Authority reports that 17 ships are expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from November 3 to 7.
NPA said that nine other vessels were expected to berth at various ports in Lagos.
“We do not want to distract them from the onerous tasks facing them and the nation. Neither is it our wish to take the spotlight away from them in any way,” he said.
NBS, in a report released on Monday, revealed that the average fare rose to N72,690.54 in September 2022 from N36,922.97 in September 2021.
“Two years ago, we had this kind of issue that even the funds got to an amount far higher than what it is now about $750 million.”
Aviation fuel will be sold at the rate of N480 per litre to airline operators for the next three months.
