Some wealthy Nigerian businessmen, politicians, bankers, clerics, among others own private jets.
Mr Keyamo said that NCAT remained the best institution for the aviation industry in Nigeria and West Africa.
“I can tell you categorically that the helicopter operators are divided.’’
“I did not meet any masterplan on the ground in the entire Nigeria. So I said what have you guys been doing about it?” Mr Keyamo said.
It noted that more than 60 per cent of the FAAN activities were in Lagos, given the huge passenger volume of the Lagos airports.
“We appeal and advise the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo to agree with us.’’
The minister said he called the customers’ satisfactory commission regarding the treatment of Nigerians.
Ms Adekunle was first charged in March 2023 and has since been held in detention for allegedly moving money for illegal activities.
The minister said efforts were made to ensure no essential service is disrupted by anybody no matter how aggrieved.
