Both deceased nationalists inspired the 2014 confab convened by former President Goodluck Jonathan and participated in it.
Mr Ologunagba stated that the late Adebanjo was a fearless lawyer, forthright and principled politician, uncompromising democrat, and a leading national figure.
Mr Kalu stated, “The passing of elder statesman, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, is a great loss to Nigeria.’’
Mr Adebanjo died on Friday at his residence in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Messrs Obi and Adams, and others expressed sadness over the death of the nationalist in separate statements.
Mr Omololu disagreed with the appointment of Mr Farotimi, describing the Fasoranti’s faction of Afenifere as the “authentic” group.
Mr Adebanjo urged President Bola Tinubu to fish out the perpetrators of the attacks on Barkin-Ladi, Bassa, Bokkos, Mangu, and other LGAs in Plateau.
He added that he and his group are currently disputing the results of the election that made Mr Tinubu president.
“Baba (Fasoranti) said he is aware of all your asking for and he said you should not fight but allow peace to reign,” he said.
