The postponement was announced in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Saturday.
The statement noted that stakeholders requested an extension of the registration period to enable all interested candidates to register.

“The 2022 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) will commence on June 27 and end on August 12.”
The National Common Entrance Examination for admissions into federal unity colleges has been shifted to May 7.
Mr Wushishi replaces Professor Godswill Obioma who was assassinated on June 1, 2021.
Mr Ogborodi’s appointment followed the death of Professor Godswill Obioma, NECO’s Registrar on Monday after a brief illness.
