Mr Buratai berated the current administration for its insensitivity to the sufferings of the Nigerian masses.
Mr Ribadu took over from former NSA, Babagana Monguno, following his appointment by President Bola Tinubu on June 19.
“The people who use social media, please understand this till our visitors, especially those who come from other countries, disperse,” warned Mr Monguno.
“It is very important that Nigerians are not pushed to the limit where they will abandon their number one responsibility as citizens.”
The high-level Dakar 2 Summit is hosted by President Macky Sall of Senegal and the chairperson of the African Union.
Mr Monguno said this when he appeared for 2023 budget defence at the National Assembly on Thursday in Abuja.
The national security adviser said this was evident in the continued mass surrender of terrorists and their sympathisers.
The National Security Adviser urged Nigerians to go about their businesses without fear.
The president is expected to deliver a statement at the summit, and meet separately with President Yoon Suk-yeol of the Republic of Korea.
“But there is no straight, cut and dried method around this unless we collectively fight it,” the security chief pointed out.
