The VP was received by the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, members of Kwara State Executive Council and other top government functionaries.
Mr Balami said, “The National Universities Commission has licensed the institution to offer 11 programmes.”
The beneficiaries were drawn from Biu, Hawul, Shani, Bayo and Kwaya-Kusar council areas.
Mr Zulum said the High Islamic College was designed to integrate out-of-school children.
