A lawyer has asked the Nigerian Correctional Service to investigate its officers at the Kuje Correctional Centre over alleged extortion of inmates and gross misconduct.
“My dad’s dead body was found on a farm just about a kilometre away from the house where he was abducted,” said Mr Dakum.
The judge nullified the continued detention of the driver and ordered his immediate release from the SSS custody in Abuja.
They kidnapped Mr Ozekhome on August 23, 2013, in Iruekpen on his way to Iviukwe in Agenebode, Edo.
The case is yet to be assigned to a judge.
