“They shot and killed six persons, injured 10, and set ablaze three houses and about 10 vehicles,” he said.
The Katsina government said it extended financial assistance to 30 families affected by the recent bandits attack in Jibia LGA.

One among the dozens of the assailants was neutralised in the gun battle but the fleeing bandits killed no fewer than three locals as they retreated.
The group said attacks by bandits are part of a conspiracy to destabilise the northern economy.
