The police swooped in one the bandit after a distress call in the wee hours of Thursday indicated the gun-wielding criminals had invaded Kirfi village and abducted a man, Kabir Sule.
Bandits were said to have carried out coordinated attacks in Malagum 1 and Sokwong communities of Kagoro Chiefdom in Kaura LGA on December 18.
Several other bandits were said to have fled the onslaught with gunshot injuries.
A state government official said some of the terrorists are battling with life-threatening wounds.
