The police command in Katsina has confirmed the killing of three persons by bandits.
Mr Abiodun said, “The police received a report on June 25, at about 9am that suspected bandits attacked Watari village via Rijau and its environs.’’
The KDF said it “is deeply saddened by this senseless tragedy and stands in full solidarity with the bereaved communities during this painful time”.
About two weeks ago, gunmen raided Yelewata in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, killing around 200 people.
