Mr Mobereola’s appointment follows the exit of Bashir Jamoh, whose tenure as NIMASA’s director-general recently expired.
“Let me inform you that the bill seeking amendment of the NIMASA Act has passed its first reading on the floor of the Senate,” Mr Sanni said.
Mr Jamoh said that there was a need to significantly enhance highway sweeping efforts.
Mr Jamoh said the technical partners would liaise with the management of the NPA in finalising the site management.
