The chief magistrate, Abdulrazaq Eneye, released the defendant after he had spent three weeks at the Kuje Correctional Centre.
The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said at a media briefing in Abuja that the arrest was made in two weeks.
Mr Idachaba alleged that while the defendant was at the counter, he used his Android phone to take naked pictures of a suspect, Uja Obiajulu and send them to the suspect’s wife.
The prosecutor told the court that the defendant caused the death of Lance Cpl Yusuf Jemilu of the Nigerian Air Force Base, Abuja.
The convict was, however, given an option to pay a fine of N20, 000.
